Melted Items During Shipping

During the summer some items may run the risk of melting in rare circumstances. We cannot control this unfortunately, the gummies, chocolate items, wonderland bark and match cups run the risk mainly.

We are unable to replace these items and do our best to warn you on the items pages as well before you order.

Please put them in the freezer and the medication part will still work….and should still be very delicious, they just wont be as pretty 🙂

How long is this stuff good for?

We always suggest keeping all edibles in the fridge.

Outside of the fridge for Cookies / Cereal Bars You have roughly a month. In the fridge about two months. In the freezer, 6 months.

For cookie dough, Ice Balls, Polar Bear Claws etc keep it in the fridge and you have about 3 weeks – a month. It might get dried out a bit but not go bad before that.

Anything else we haven’t mentioned, give us a shout!

Shipping During December

While we will always make sure you do get your package, during December, Canada Post can be a bit unpredictable, some package may run a couple days later than they normally would after shipped.

Unfortunately this is out of our hands. If your package is lost we will, as always, replace it, but no credits or replacements will be issued for packages late due to Canada Post.

Please note: In almost all cases this is not a problem, but it has come up once so far this month and while Canada Post tells us we have no need to anticipate these delays, we have been down this road before and felt we should just make you all aware that there is the small chance of it running a couple days later than expected.

**UPDATE** Canada Post will not consider a package late until 3 business days after it was due, for the month of December. Please keep this in mind when choosing your shipping method.

What if my package doesn’t show up?

If it doesn’t show up, we will send you a new one, if the items you ordered are out of stock, then we will give you an in-store credit for the total amount of your package including shipping.

Unfortunately, we cannot replace/give credit for packages that state that they were delivered by Canada Post Tracking. Otherwise EVERYONE would be eligible for a replacement.

That is the only instance that we will not replace your items.

Gummy Worms
  • Gummy Worms should be kept in the fridge no matter what. If you plan on keeping them for more then a week or two max, then keep them in the freezer.
  • We cannot prevent melting during shipping. This, in most cases, is due to the hot weather….sometimes it happens during transit as well. This isn’t a problem that happens often, but we cannot replace gummies that have melted.
Things to keep in mind during a sale
  • Variety Packs will not be involved in the sale and will not be available during the sale.
  • Oz’s will not be included either, but all 1/8’s of all strains will be.
  • Please allow 1-2 extra business days for processing of packages during sales.
  • No other discount codes will be valid in conjunction with the sale.
What is your refund policy?

Refunds will be handled at our discretion and in STORE CREDIT ONLY. Meaning that if you would like a refund on an order that hasn’t left for the post office yet it is no problem, we will gladly give you store credit for your purchase!

In cases where there item HAS already left for the past office and is on it’s way to you, we cannot issue a refund, there are simply too many variables.

We stand behind our products and if you are unhappy with anything you have, or didn’t receive your order (and your Canada Post tracking number also reflects this)  we will gladly replace your items on a  case by case basis.

What happens if I make an order and change my mind / don’t pay?

If you make an order and change your mind it is no problem, just please shoot us an email and let us know. If we don’y hear from you and we don’t receive payment within 2 hours we will simply remove your order from our system and block your IP address from our system to prevent further issues with fake orders, non-payments etc.

How do I send an e-transfer?

– From your online banking select send interac e-transfer (or just e-transfer sometimes)
– Add us as a new payee (Call us whatever you want, only you see this part)
– Use the email paymentstcp@gmail.com
– Make the questions your order number
– Set the password as instructed in your order confirmation

And you are all set!

How do I become a member?

Becoming a member is simple and at no cost to you. You simply must be over the age of 19 and that you live in Canada.

How do I pay for my order?

At this time we ONLY accept Interac email transfer payments. After you order you will be given instructions on how and where to send your e-transfer on the order confirmation page. You must pay within 2 hours of submitting your order.

Do you guarantee my package will arrive safely?

Yes. If your package does not arrive to your house according to your Canada Post tracking info then we will replace your entire package at no cost to you. The only exceptions being, if you live in Nunavut, North West Territories, or Yukon. We unfortunately lose too many packages to these regions due to postal theft or loss, and are unable to guarantee safe arrival.

Are your edibles allergy-free?

No. All edibles may contain soy, nuts, gluten, dairy, traces of egg, or any other non-specified allergens. If you have any specific questions regarding our ingredients, feel free to email us at info@thecureparlour.ca and we will do our best to help!

Shipping to Nunavut, NWT and Yukon?

Unfortunately, we experience much higher % of postal thefts when shipping to Nunavut, NWT, and Yukon. We cannot offer any delivery guarantees if you live in these areas and you will be ordering at your own risk. This means you will not receive a replacement package or refund if your package is lost or stolen. We are sorry for the inconvenience this may cause you.

How do you package my shipment?

We understand that most people require discretion. So, we use generic Canada Post bubble envelopes to package items. We then vacuum seal the contents for maximum discretion, protection and to seal in the freshness. There is nothing written on the outside of the envelope that would advertise that you are taking medical marijuana so no one would know it is anything other than a regular package from the post office.

Do you ship outside of Canada?

No. Unfortunately at this time that is a no-no.

How long will it take to receive my package?

All items are shipped via Canada Post’s Xpresspost and Expedited service. 2-3 business days in most of Canada for Xpresspost or 4-7 days for Expedited.

If your package is more than 3 business days late due to a Canada Post error we will replace it or give you credit. Canada Post is fairly reliable, but please do not order without a day or two wiggle room just in case.

When does my order ship?

All packages will generally ship same or next business day. Please keep in mind that we are a bakery, so if you order edibles, sometimes it could leave one extra day later, this is for everyone’s benefit, as generally if this happens it is because we went to pack your order and weren’t happy with the product (broken etc) and are making you a fresh one. This is rare, but it does happen.

If it is more than 3 business days late from the day it ships for any reason, including a Canada Post error, we will refund the overage in shipping costs to you in the form of credit. The only exception would be if you leave in one of the far corners of our country and Canada Post decides it can’t get to you that fast, this is usually reserved for very remote areas, territories etc.

We have spent time building a solid reputation amongst medical patients and strongly support the use of Cannabis.  We understand the needs of our customers that may have trouble purchasing from a dispensary for any number of reasons and believe they shouldn’t be forced to have to buy illegally on the streets.
